The “Oak Park Sculpture Walk” which has just begun and continues through mid-October has received rave reviews from local residents.  This self-guided tour takes you through the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District and includes 12 prize-winning sculptures.  Go to the Visitors Center at 1010 Lake St. to get your free map and information packet for this Free Event.  What a fun and artistic way to explore beautiful Oak Park.  www.visitoakpark.com .

“Chalk Up” is presented by the Oak Park Art League as a “Family Art Festival” on Saturday, June 23 from 10am – 4pm at 185 N. Marion Street.  Art, of course, kids’ activities, and more including Free Ice Cream at this Free Event.  Visit www.opal-art.com for all the information.  

At 6:30pm on Saturday, you are invited to the annual “Patriot Pops” concert and social at Concordia University, 7400 Augusta in River Forest.  Free Event, just bring your chairs and blankets.  They will have POPsicles, treats, and boxed dinners for sale.

On Sunday, June 25, you can do the very first  “House of Worship Walk”.  You’ll tour six of Oak Park’s most beautiful churches including Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, Unity Temple.  Tickets and more infomation are available at www.oprfhistory.com .  The tour beigins at First United at 848 Lake St.
