Thursday, 4/25 - Sunday, 5/5 with Thursday - Sunday performance at 7pm & on Sunday at 3pm. It's "Suessical, The Musical" at Oak Park's Madison Street Theatre, 1010 Madison is performed by Circle Theatre's Emerging Young Artists and fun for all. Tickets at www.mstoakpark.com or 708-209-3469.
Thursday, 4/25 - Sunday, 5/ 26 with Thursday, Friday, Saturday performance at 8pm & Sunday at 3pm come see "Death Takes a Holiday" . It's a romantic musical about the personification of "Death" finding love. Based on the Brad Pitt movie and performed by Circle Theatre at Oak Park's Madison Street Theatre, 1010 Madison. Friday, 4/26, Sunday, 4/8, Friday, 5/3 & Sunday, 5/5 with Friday performances at 7:30pm & Sundays at 2:30pm, you'll see "Fiddler on the Roof" performed by the North Riverside Players at the North Riverside Village Commons, 2401 Desplaines Ave. This marks the 23rd year for this non-professional's group doing Broadway plays, and Fiddler is one of the most beloved. Friday, 4/26 at 7:30pm, "High Noon" and "The Poltergeist" are performed by the Riverside Township Radio Players. These classic radio plays are at the Riverside Township Hall, 27 Riverside Road. Free Event.
Saturday, 4/27 starting at 9am, and it's supposed to be a beautiful day, "Family Garage Sale & Flea Market", an annual event at the Forest Park Park at Harrison and Desplaines offers deals, food, and fun. Go to www.fppd.org for more details. Free Event.
Saturday, 4/27 from 10am - 4pm come to the "28th Annual Kitchenwalk" t. It takes you on a tour of 10 beautiful Oak Park kitchens to benefit Parenthesis. Get more details and tickets at www.parenthesis-info.org or call 708-848-2227.
And on Saturday, 4/27 at 7:30pm, hear "Ian Hobson" perform at Unity Temple, 875 Lake St. in Oak Park as the grand finale of the this year's, and it may be the last year as we know the series, Concert Series. This internationally celebrated pianist will perform Chopin, Brahms, Ravel, and more. Tickets at www.utconcerts.com .
