The 12th Annual Holiday Housewalk and Market begins today, Thursday, December 2 from 6 - 9pm with a "Sugar Plum Preview Party".  Come to Concordia University's Koehneke Center, many signs will point the way.  Nearly 50 vendors of high-end merchandise and gourmet foods will kick-off this great charity event.  Tickets for tonight's preview are $10 per person and group rates are available.  The Housewalk begins on Friday, December 3rd with check-in from 3 - 8pm and The Walk from 5 - 9pm.  It continues on Saturday, December 4th with check-in from 10 - 4pm and the Walk from 1 - 5pm.  This year's walk features five wonderful River Forest residences which are decorated to the hilt both inside and out.  You'll visit "Dreaming of a Green Christmas",  "Christmas on a Dime", "Home for the Holidays" and more themed homes. All of the these homes hold architectural interest as well.  This is going to be a fun, festive event, it supports a great cause, and is a wonderful way to begin your holiday celebration. New, this year, is the Holiday Market so you can get a start on your holiday shopping too!  For more information and tickets, call 708-848-0528 (Ext. 300) or go directly to Concordia's Koehneke Center.
