Hard to believe the year has gone so quickly and it's time, once again, for the annual "Pleasant Homes: A Tour of Oak Park Historic Interiors" on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 - 3 p.m. This fundraiser for Pleasant Home at 217 Home in Oak Park will let you tour six unique "Arts & Crafts" homes, some open to the public for the very first time. These homes are treasures. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Pleasant Home. You can get tickets there or go to their site at www.pleasanthome.org where you'll also find a downloadable tour brochure.

After your home tour, you may want to go to Unity Temple at 875 Lake St. in Oak Park for an in-depth "Art Glass Tour". Expert, Rolf Achillles will help you see and better understand Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece at 2 p.m. Tickets at the door or call 708-848-6225.
