When my son played Little League, the adults decided not to keep score. The boys knew if they won or lost, but “we” were supposed to tell our sons “everyone” played their best!
Last year, Wednesday Journal awarded River Forest’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Group (DEI AG) their Villagers of the Year (yes, a group of 40+).
DEI AG hasn’t done a darn thing. We haven’t scored one run.
Participation trophies are nice, but shouldn’t we expect more?
