Forbes Magazine selected Neal Rothschild in the 2021 list of “30 Under 30” working in media. Director of audience and growth for the news website Axios, Rothschild has increased the outlet’s readership by 73 percent in the last year, as well as expanding its social media audience to more than 500,000 on Twitter, 400,000 on Facebook and 90,000 on Instagram, according to Forbes.
A graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High School class of 2010, Rothschild now lives in Washington D.C. His parents, Richard Rothschild and Judy Crow, have lived in Oak Park for 32 years.
Rothchild’s dad reports that Neal got his start in journalism as a delivery carrier for Wednesday Journal.
