Recently, the Chicago Tribune featured an article concerning the difficulties seniors and other isolated folks have in securing their minimal needs.
River Forest represents a shining example of helpfulness and caring for its residents. President Cathy Adduci and her administration’s task force have provided for our needs and more. I am one of those who has benefitted from this service.
Ms. Helen Kwan, the dispatcher, and her kind and generous helper-shoppers offer every service with warmth and concern. What a unique pleasure to live in a village where folks really care.
Although I am troubled by our nation’s leadership, an evil, racist, hateful threesome — President Trump, Attorney General Barr, and Senator McConnell, I feel my fears will be overcome by the responses of good people, similar to our River Forest folks.
Thanks to you who have given me help, hope and security.
