The village of Oak Park announced April 14 that five more residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The newest cases range in age from their 20s to 70s.

The running total of positive COVID-19 cases in Oak Park is now 109, according to data from the state of Illinois per the village’s announcement. That number could potentially change as local public health officials verify the residency of the individuals.

Due to privacy laws, the village has released no further information regarding the individuals who have received positive diagnoses for the virus. As of April 9, the village has two fatalities likely caused by COVID-19.
