The village of Oak Park announced April 10 ten more residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The newest cases range in age from their 30s to 80s.
The total of positive COVID-19 cases is now 91, according to data from the state of Illinois per the village’s announcement. That number could potentially change as local public health officials verify the residency of the individuals.
Due to privacy laws, the village has released no further information regarding the individuals who have received positive diagnoses for the virus. As of April 9, the village has two fatalities likely caused by COVID-19.
