During a regular meeting on April 9, the Oak Park Elementary School District 97 Board of Education approved the appointment of four new administrators, just before three D97 administrators leave for jobs elsewhere.
The district appointed Gina Herrman to replace Laurie Cambpell as senior director of human resources, starting July 1.
Michael Tanner will replace Paul Stark-King as the district’s assistant superintendent for finance and operations/chief school business official on an interim basis. Tanner’s first day was April 11.
Donna Middleton will replace Eboney Lofton as the district’s senior director of special education, starting July 1. Middelton is currently D97’s director of special education. Lofton was recently appointed the district’s new chief academic and accountability officer.
Patrick King was appointed director of finance, a position the district created to replace the fiscal services coordinator position, officials said. King, who will be responsible for managing functions like accounts payable and payroll, will start on June 1.
“I want to congratulate all of our new administrators, and welcome Gina, Michael and Patrick to District 97,” Supt. Carol Kelley said in a statement. “These four individuals have demonstrated incredible leadership and skill in their respective fields and that experience will be critical as we work to advance our vision and foster the success of our students, staff and schools.”
