The Illinois Chamber of Commerce has named Meghan Woltman as its new chairperson of the business advocacy organization’s board of directors. Woltman, who serves as vice president of government and community relations, succeeds Tony Reinhart, who served as head of the state chamber for two years. Woltman and her husband live in River Forrest and have three children.
“It’s an honor to continue to work alongside some of Illinois’ brightest business leaders,” Todd Maisch, CEO and president of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement.
Woltman is the second woman to lead the board. She formerly served as vice-chairperson of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and has been a director on the board since 2011. She also sits on the Chicago Women in Government Relations board of directors.
Woltman earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at St. Louis University.
