Oak Park and River Forest High School alum Kevin Rhomberg, also known as the hip-hop producer Knox Fortune, is currently scaling one career peak after another.
In February, Rhomberg, who frequently collaborates with his good friend Chance the Rapper, earned a piece of Chance’s Best Rap Album Grammy Award. According to an article in the Nov. 2 Chicago Reader (on whose cover Rhomberg can be seen in mid-flight, as if jumping over a cliff), the producer’s Grammy certificate was recently mailed to his dad’s Oak Park address.
Two months ago, Rhomberg released his first solo album, Paradise. The album is apparently the start of a new height the producer wants to scale — making his name as a pop artist.
