Great news for job seekers, the annual Joseph Business School (JBS) Career Fair returns this year offering even more employment opportunities, plus a wide range of industry and tech jobs on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Living Word Christian Center – Exhibition Hall, 7600 W. Roosevelt Road, Forest Park, Illinois.

With the Chicago-area unemployment rate around 5.4 percent*, both entry-level job seekers and career professionals will find a variety of employment opportunities available at this year’s career fair. Attendees will have an opportunity to talk with employers offering positions in sales, marketing, management, customer service, government and technology. Those seeking employment are advised to wear business attire and bring resumes, as many recruiters will be conducting on-site interviews.

Dr. Eddie Kornegay, the dean of the JBS Continuing Education & Professional Development (CEPD) Department, wants to get the word out, “Our career fair is bringing employment opportunities into the community and right to your doorstep. Don’t miss out.”

The Career Fair is FREE and open to the public.

Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Fair entry begins at 9:00 a.m.

All job seekers are required to register at mm.billwinston.org or call (866) 816-4653

For attendees who want to upgrade their work skills (e.g., in computers, presentations or writing), Dr. Kornegay says, “There will be representatives from the JBS CEPD Department available to answer any questions about our upcoming classes and workshops. We’re committed to helping adult students enhance their career and job-readiness skills, making them more effective and successful in the workplace.”
