First it was Oak Park Station and then it was Elevate Oak Park — now you can just call it The Emerson. If you’re not thoroughly confused, the name change is in reference to the massive mixed-use development going in near the corner of Lake Street and Harlem Avenue. The sign just went up stating: “New name. Same great taste.” Um. We didn’t know you were supposed to taste it, but OK. Welcome to Lake Street, The Emerson.
