Domestic goddess and home decoration sensation Martha Stewart visited Chicago earlier this month and wrote about her day trip to Oak Park on her blog Martha Up Close & Personal.

Stewart was given a private tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Home & Studio, posting more than two dozen photos of the historic building and giving readers a brief tour of the studio.

“In contrast to the neighboring houses, Wright’s home is defined by bold geometric shapes — a substantial triangular gable set upon a rectangular base, polygonal window bays, and the curved wall of the wide porch,” she explains in one photo.

The complete tour of the studio is on Stewart’s website at http://www.themarthablog.com/2016/11/a-business-trip-to-chicago.html.
