Oak Park and River Forest High School District 200 will host two community meetings on Sept. 1 regarding the selection of a new superintendent, who will start his or her duties on July 1, 2017.
The meetings will take place at OPRF’s Little Theatre, 201 N. Scoville Ave., and at Roosevelt Middle School’s auditorium, 7560 Oak Ave. Both are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Representatives from the search firm BWP & Associates will facilitate focus group discussions and inform community members about the search process. The deadline for potential superintendent candidates to submit their applications for the job is Oct. 15.
In addition, starting next week, a public survey will be available for any resident within the high school district to complete. The survey will be on the high school’s website (oprfhs.org) from Monday, Aug. 29 until Sunday, Sept. 11.
