Joanne Tostrud Johnson, 77, of Oak Park, formerly of River Forest, died on July 19, 2016. Born on Oct. 18, 1938, she was a lifelong Lutheran, an avid bridge player, an alumna of Ripon College, and a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She spent her career as a certified financial analyst.
Joanne Johnson is survived by her children, Jill Susan (Kurt Sunderman) and David Calvin (Peggy) Johnson; her grandchildren, Elyssa Joanne (Derek) Salinas Lazarski and Grace Elizabeth Johnson; her siblings, David (Maureen) Tostrud and the late Mary Tostrud; and her nieces and nephew, Julie (Randy) Simonson, Dan (Amanda) Tostrud, and Stephanie (Dean) Jobe.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, at Grace Lutheran Church, 7300 Division St. in River Forest.
