OAK PARK, IL (June 1, 2016) – Oak Park native and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert will host his fifth annual youth basketball camp June 27-29 at his alma mater Oak Park and River Forest High School.   

The Iman Shumpert Youth Basketball Camp will feature Shumpert and some of the best coaches in the region teaching the fundamentals of the sport. This academy is excellent preparation for campers looking to take their game to the next level. Throughout the camp, participants will take part in basketball drill stations, player evaluations, 5 on 5 games, educational sessions and basketball contests.

Shumpert will donate his proceeds from the camp to OPRF and the Oak Park community. 

The Iman Shumpert Youth Basketball Camp is open to girls and boys going into 5th through 9th grades. The three (3) day camp costs $160 per camper. All of the campers will receive lunch each day, an Adidas T-shirt, a reversible pinnie for games, a photo with Shumpert, awards and instruction from Shumpert. The academy will run from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m each day.
