Voters in 48 precincts in suburban Cook County will have a new polling place for the March 15 Presidential Primary Election, says Cook County Clerk David Orr.

According to Orr’s office, “There are 1,599 precincts in suburban Cook County and more than 1,000 polling places. While polling places are primarily public buildings, they can change for a variety of reasons, such as safety issues, construction projects or space constraints.” 

Oak Park and River Forest each have two new polling places.

 River Forest Precinct 1

Old polling place: Trinity High School

New polling place: Priory Campus, 7200 Division St.

 River Forest Precinct 2

Old polling place: Trinity High School

New polling place: First Presbyterian Church of River Forest, 7551 Quick Ave.

 Oak Park Precinct 15

Old polling place: Oak Park Village Hall

New polling place: Hedges Administration Office, 218 Madison St.

 Oak Park Precinct 16

Old polling place: Fox Recreation Center

New polling place: Adele H. Maze Library, 845 Gunderson Ave.
