The hottest ticket in River Forest is a chance to get a photo-op with Lord Stanley’s Cup.

First Presbyterian Church, 7551 Quick Ave., will host the cup to benefit the church’s ministries and mission. And tickets are expected to go quickly for the event, scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Wednesday July 15.

The first 125 people to register will get a brief (5 to 8 seconds) sitting with the Cup. Up to six people can be in a group shot, which will be taken by a professional photographer. Payment must be made at time of registration to guarantee the spot. Do not share the payment link, church officials said.  The cost is $100; click here to register. Bidding is now open to win the chance to take an unlimited number of photos during a 30-minute sitting. As many as 180 people can be in the room. Winners also can meet Troy Parchman, the Blackhawks’ head equipment manager. Bids start at $15,000 and must be increased in $500 increments. The highest bid will be posted as they are received. Email bids to 30minuteswithstanley@firstpresrf.org. Bidding will close at noon, July 10.
