Jeanette M. Dorsey (nee Troester), 93, formerly of Wheaton and Oak Park, died on June 4, 2015. Born on March 19, 1922 in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was raised here. A lifelong employee of Sears, Roebuck & Co., she was a former member of the Senior Citizens Group of Oak Park.
She volunteered at the Economy Shop, enjoyed gardening, and loved animals, especially cats. She was a person of spiritual faith.
Jeanette Dorsey is survived by her sister, Dorothy Caster; her brother-in-law, Martin (Louise) Dorsey; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; and her brother, Robert (the late Helen) Troester.
All services were private and arranged by Wheaton’s Williams-Kampp Funeral Home.
