OPT Cornerstone

Oak Park Temple B’nai Abraham Zion is set to open a 58-year-old time capsule placed in the cornerstone of the temple in 1957.

The Reform Jewish congregation at 1235 N. Harlem Ave. said in an email that only those who were present when the cornerstone was laid know what is in the small copper case.

The congregation will open the time capsule this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. They’ve also dug up old footage of the time capsule being placed. Check out our link. See anybody you know?
