Robert and Wendy Planek and William and Kathleen Planek were honored with Trinity High School’s 2015 Leadership Award at Trinity’s annual Bal Dominique, held at the Drake Hotel in Chicago on March 21.

Bill and Katie Planek have played a significant role in the evolution of Trinity as the neighborhood “all-girls” school to its current position as the premier single-gender Catholic high school in the Chicago area. Bill’s leadership as a member and then president of the board of directors and Katie and Bill’s important financial commitment supported each phase of this metamorphosis.

Wendy (Milewski ’83) and Bob Planek have tirelessly supported the efforts of Sr. Michelle, Dr. Bouillette and the Trinity Board of Directors to meet the demands of today’s parents who seek a superior education combined with the spiritual benefits of a Catholic high school experience. In addition, Wendy continues to spend a tremendous amount of time at Trinity overseeing multiple projects as a member of the school’s marketing committee.

Both Planek couples time and treasure have made a difference in the lives of many young women over the years and Trinity High School continues to flourish because of their dedication to the school. Trinity congratulates these two very deserving couples on being recipients of the 2015 Leadership Award.
