OAK PARK, Ill.- The Pleasant Home Foundation is pleased to announce a Valentine’s a Cappella performance featuring acclaimed group An Octave Above on Feb. 13. They will present their show “Songs About Love” while delighting the audience with talented singing, impressive musical arrangements, dynamic stage presence and humorous antics.
The evening will begin a wine and chocolate reception in Pleasant Home’s historic Great Hall while magician Jeanette Andrews charms guests with strolling magic. An Octave Above will take the stage at 7:30pm. Most of the eight members of the group are current or former members of the Chicago Symphony Chorus.
