(Oak Park, Ill.) – The Frank Lloyd Wright Trust will present two concerts in December at Unity Temple in Oak Park.
The hour-long performances will take place 7 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 4 and Dec. 18 at Unity Temple, 875 Lake St., Oak Park, Ill.
Admission is free to the Dec. 4 concert featuring the Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players in a program titled Music and Modernism: Early 20th Century Vienna. The Philharmonic musicians who will be performing are members of the Pro Arte Quartet, which has been in existence more than 100 years. They will explore the cultural climate of early 20th century Vienna through the music of Austrian composers Alexander Zemlinsky and Arnold Schöenberg. Register at flwright.org under Adult Programs.

On Dec. 18, Grammy-nominated vocalist Margaret Carlson and her trio will present a jazz performance of holiday favorites. Carlson has been compared to Julie Andrews and Maureen McGovern, and This Christmas…my favorite things will showcase her elegant musical style and on-stage presence.
