Oak Park resident Joe Fournier was honored by the Chicago Journalism Association, Oct. 17, receiving the 2014 award for Editorial Cartoons at the association’s annual dinner.
Fournier’s work, titled “Op Art,” appears in the Chicago Tribune editorial section three times a week. His work is characterized by “humorous insights into today’s often ridiculous happenings in the news, enhanced by his spot-on caricatures of our newsmakers.”
