BRAVO will put on a production of “And A Child Shall Lead” October 17, 18 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School, 325 S. Kenilworth Ave.

“Join us as we go back in time to the 1940’s at Terezin, a Nazi ghetto that was a collection point of sorts for the elderly, artists, elite and children before they were taken to Auschwitz,” reads a news release about the production. “Separated from their parents and not knowing where they were, their lives as prisoners became more and more difficult, their living conditions horrible. The children of Terezin did what they could to survive and take care of each other; they played, they drew pictures and wrote poems. And A Child Shall Lead is the story of these children.”

Tickets for adults are $9; students and seniors are $7. To purchase tickets visit op97.org/bravo or call the Bravo Box Office at 708-524-5621.
