Former Chairman and CEO of Exelon Corp. John Rowe and his wife Jeanne Rowe have donated $1 million to Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business according to a Crain’s Business Journal report Tuesday.
The donation, announced at a reception at the Library Club in Chicago in late September, will fund a professor’s position at the school.
Dominican University President Donna Carroll said the donation was a “validation of John’s confidence in the quality of the school.”
Rowe was a friend of the former CEO of Sears the late Ed Brennan whom the business school is named after.
