Oak Park Regional Housing Center is holding its annual benefit this Saturday evening. It’s a chance to celebrate the organization with the prosaic name that has been at the center of the village’s successful managed integration efforts since 1972.
This year’s benefit will be held at the iconic Unity Temple, a national historic landmark and Frank Lloyd Wright’s only surviving public building from his Prairie period. Between the tastings of eclectic hors d’oeuvres created by local chef Su Jang, guests can explore the exterior terraces, Unity House, and the main worship space.
