Oak Park police took a Chicago man wearing an “Indiana Grandma” t-shirt into custody Sept. 5, shortly after he attempted to rob the US Bank at 104 N. Oak Park Ave. around 3:15 p.m.

Police arrested Nicholas D. Connor, 23, a resident of Chicago’s Metropolitan YMCA at 801 N. Dearborn Ave. Connor was turned over to the FBI.
