School is back in full swing and the River Forest Library is a wonderful place to visit after school. Kids can get their homework done or attend an after-school program.

The Library offers special programming throughout the school year. Every Wednesday, middle schoolers are invited to head to the RFPL for drop-in crafts. Come by and make something cool. On Fridays, the library hosts drop-in gaming or shows a movie. On the last Monday of the month, we host RFPL Booktalkers, a program for middle schoolers to come and relax, enjoy snacks, and talk about what they are reading.  .

The RFPL has a special space upstairs for middle schoolers to access computers, work small groups, and a quiet pace for reading or doing homework. Reading for fun doesn’t end in August. Don’t forget about all the great books, movies, eBooks, games, music, and more that you can checkout all year long.
