Each year more than 100 volunteers from Cluster Tutoring work one-to-one with students from the Austin community to help them improve their academic skills. With a waiting list of students, volunteers are always needed. Won’t you join us?

Many of our tutors have been involved with Cluster for three or more years and find they get as much out of the program as the students. The atmosphere is supportive, friendly, and relaxed.

Volunteers are asked to tutor one evening a week from 6:30 to 8 p.m. during the school year. Students range from kindergarten through high school, but most are in elementary school. Volunteers can choose to tutor on Tuesdays at Pine Avenue Church (5460 W. Augusta in Chicago) or on Thursdays at First United Church of Oak Park (848 Lake St.). Most tutors are adults, but high school students make wonderful tutors, too.

Cluster Tutoring has been making a difference in kids’ lives for almost 25 years. For more information about the program, please call 773-378-5530, or send us an email at clustertutoring@clustertutoring.org.
