Vera L. Donlan (nee Morse), 97, of Lombard, formerly of Oak Park, died on July 28, 2014. She was born on Oct. 3, 1916 in Faulkton, South Dakota.
Vera Donlan is survived by her children, Mary (Rick) Brock, Joe Donlan Jr., Muriel (Steve) Stephenson, and Peter (Donna) Donnellan; her grandchildren, Shawn, Denise and Steve Donlan, Katie and Rick Brock, Emily and Annie Stephenson, and Brigid and Rory Donnellan; her three great-grandchildren; nine siblings; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Donlan, and her son, Douglas Allen Donlan.
A memorial gathering was held on Aug. 1 at Knollcrest Funeral Home in Lombard. A memorial Mass was celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Aug. 2. Interment was private.
