In the city of Chicago, the following people were killed by violence, April 5-9: Â
Michael Flournoy, 16; Jordan Harris, 24; Darnall Gordon, 36; and Mario Hess, 33. Please keep their families and others touched by violence in our prayers. Â
The following list from the detention center is sent by the Interfaith Committee for Detained Immigrants:
Remember the 20 immigrant detainees at the McHenry County Jail, the regional detention center, as of April 8. They are from Brazil, El Salvador, Germany, Guatemala, Jamaica, Kenya, Mexico, and Nigeria. May the outcomes be positive for all of the detainees and their families.     Â
