Connie Ann Davis, 64, a forty-year resident of Oak Park, died on March 9, 2014 from complications related to her long battle with muscular dystrophy, which she fought with valor until the end. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, going to the casino, collecting elephant figurines and unique salt and pepper shakers, and doing crossword puzzles.
Connie Davis is survived by Jim Davis, her husband of 48 years; her children, Kathy, Sarah (Peter Nowicki), and John Davis; her grandchildren, Bryan, Brittany, Shawn, and Patrick; her siblings, Mary Pearson and Ted Pearson (Joyce Para); and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Davis, in September 2013; her parents, George and Mary June Pearson; and her sisters, Minnetta Lasota and Jean Pearson.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 14 at Drechsler, Brown, & Williams Funeral Home. On Saturday, March 15, prayers will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m., followed by Mass at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Park’s Ascension Church. Interment is private.
