The integrity, intelligence, and common sense of circuit court judges undergirds our economy and social fabric. How does a citizen cast an informed vote on all the judicial races at the end of the March 18 ballot? The bar associations are trying to make it easy for you. They rate the candidates with questionnaires and interviews of the lawyers they have tried cases against and the judges they appear before.

Their results are published at voteforjudges.org.

The last race on your ballot is for the 11th Judicial Subcircuit, and there you will find Judge Pamela McLean Meyerson. She was appointed to the bench by the Illinois Supreme Court and now is running in a four-way race.

Of the candidates, she has the most diverse and relevant experience for the job she now holds, and I believe she deserves your vote to remain on the bench. I know her to be a skilled lawyer of uncommon integrity, intelligence, and common sense, as well as a record of service to our community.

Judge Pam Meyerson has my vote, and I hope yours as well.
