Wednesday Journal’s ongoing coverage of housing discrimination in Oak Park has gone global through a report featured on Chicago-based Internet startup Rivet News Radio.

The customizable radio news app highlighted Wednesday Journal’s coverage of the HOPE Fair Housing Center report released last week showing discrimination against racial minorities and people with disabilities in Oak Park’s rental housing market.

The roughly two-minute feature by Rivet reporter Jennifer O’Neill interviews Wednesday Journal reporter Timothy Inklebarger, who broke the story earlier this month.

The app is available on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and can be downloaded at http://tinyurl.com/getriveted. Find the story by searching “Oak Park.”
