Mary Claire Kotelman (nee Hartmann) of Forest Park, formerly of River Forest and Oak Park, died on Dec. 1, 2013. She grew up in Chicago, raised her kids in River Forest during their grade school years and in Oak Park during their high school years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claire (nee Franchere) and Albert Hartmann and her brother, David. She was the sister of Dorthea (Martin), and Roger; the mother of Ken (Susan Lahey), Karen (Stephen Weiler), and Paul (Laura Swier); and the grandmother of Ryker, Hayden, Haley, Autumn, Abigail, Marah, Jack and Claire.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Dec. 7 at St. Luke Catholic Church in River Forest.
