Fifteen years at anything is something to celebrate. Especially in the restaurant business.
Buzz Café will officially commemorate its 15th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 31, in its traditional manner: by giving away free brewed coffee all day to its customers.
That same day in 1998 was when owner Laura Maychruk took a chance on the Oak Park community by opening Buzz Café. And the community embraced it back. It’s now a staple establishment in town.
