Many readers out there know that we here at the Rough Edges blog are big fans of pollinators, so it is with great delight we remind you that it is National Pollinator Week from June 17-23, 2013!  I’m guessing most of you are out of full-bore garden mode by now. The tomatoes and marigolds are in, and you’ve figured you’re done for the summer.

Not so!

Many of you know by now that our native pollinators (bees, bats, etc) have taken it on the chin.  It really becomes imperative that we all pitch in to find ways to create new habitat. Lucky for you there are lots of resources out there like this…..or this…..or how about that?

So don’t put away that trowel just yet. Get out in that yard and give a little bit back to the birds and the bees!
