Mark your calendars.  The Chicago Ornithological Society‘s Geoff Williamson will be presenting a talk at the Oak Park Public Library on one of the more vexing birds to identify – the sparrow!  (I can personally vouch for this).  “Those Little Brown Jobs” will give us rookies tips for how to ID these wonderful creatures that often look exasperatingly alike – especially on the wing. Geoff is one of the most knowledgeable birders in the Chicago area – and if you weren’t into birds before, you likely will be after hearing his lecture!

The lecture is from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake Street, Oak Park IL. 60301

See you there!
