The proposed building and property code changes have been getting a lot of buzz in Oak Park lately.
To address this issue, the Village of Oak Park is hosting public forums that will allow property owners and managers, contractors, design professionals and the general public to learn more about proposed changes. The codes are currently under consideration by the Village Board.
The forums are scheduled for 5 – 6:30 p.m., Wed., March 6 and 7 and 7 – 8:30 p.m., Wed., March 13 at Village Hall, 123 Madison St.
Representatives from the building and property standards department, fire department and business services division will be on hand to discuss the proposed changes and answers questions.
