Want to get to know the candidates for Oak Park and River Forest village president better? Why are they running for the top job? What local challenges are most critical to them?

Wednesday Journal will host conversations with the candidates – John Hedges and Anan Abu-Taleb in Oak Park, Michael Gibbs and Cathy Adduci in River Forest. Dan Haley, editor and publisher of the Journal, will moderate these 90-minute roundtable conversations.

The River Forest event featuring Adduci and Gibbs will be Tuesday, March 12 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the River Forest Public Library, 735 Lathrop Ave. The following evening, Wednesday, March 13, Abu-Taleb and Hedges will meet at the Oak Park Library, 834 Lake St. at 7 p.m.
