The OPRF girls basketball team wrapped up its regular season with a 58-50 victory over St. Joseph on Friday.
Hailey Hoye led the Huskies (11-17) with a game-high 21 points, eight of which came on clutch free-throws in the final quarter. Caroline Kelty finished with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Erin Orr came off the bench to tally nine points and a career-high 17 points, while Helen Onyenso hauled down 10 rebounds.
Starting point guard Maeve Connelly left the game with an ankle injury with seven seconds left in the first half and did not return. Head coach J.P. Coughlin said Connelly was doubtful for OPRF’s opening round of the Class 4A State playoffs, but hopeful she would be available for the Hinsdale Central Regional title game on Friday (7:30 p.m.). The Huskies are the 11th seed in the River Forest Sectional.
