I’m wondering if anyone else is bothered by the number of plastic-bag-wrapped flyers that come, unwelcome, to their homes. I get the “Trib Local Values: Redplum.” I don’t subscribe to the Tribune. I see these all over, lying on the ground. I have written to them repeatedly to get them to stop this delivery. I am assured regularly that this will happen until the next delivery.

I am contacting the Attorney General, but I’m wondering about the legality of this company throwing its trash, uninvited, on the yards and parkways of our village. There must be a littering or soliciting ordinance — or both — involved. I have the no-soliciting signs posted, but I’ve seen the delivery people early in the morning. They don’t look, they don’t stop, they throw.

Any thoughts on this?
