OPRF’s 93-93 tie against Lyons Township on Friday was the first time a dual meet had resulted in a stalemate, according to head coach Clyde Lundgren.

“I don’t recall ever tying in a dual meet,” said Lundgren after his team won seven events, including the final 400 freestyle relay. Kyle Patnode, Nathan Pimentel, Mark Hallman and Nikita Bondarenko took first in 3:16.10.

On Saturday at the Al Gillberg Invitational, the same 400 free relay group posted a season best time of 3:15.31. As a team, the Huskies placed fourth at the invite with 183 points, while Marmion and Fenwick rounded out first and second respectively.
