A heartfelt thank-you to all the families, children and churches of Oak Park and River Forest. You went out of your way this Christmas season to bring many surprises to the tenants of The Oaks, Mills Tower, and Ryan Farrelly Apartments. The tenants were blown away by your kindness.
Life today can be crazy and uncertain, but one thing is for sure: The citizens of Oak Park and River Forest are definitely givers — unselfish givers — year after year. Please believe you will be remembered.
We also want to recognize the women who organized this holiday gift-giving program — Patty Henek, Val Woods and Mary Jane Welter. You are special people. Without you three, there would be no Ho Ho Ho. Cheers to you and yours.
And last but never least, we’d like a huge shout-out to the Paoli Family and all their friends. You visit year after year to distribute the gifts and spend time with our tenants. Giving time is an act of love.
