OPRF High School English teacher and River Forest resident Octavius Bellamy won bronze in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2012 Veterans World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary last week.

Bellamy, who competes in the 35-40 age group finishes third in the 97kg Division A category. He went 3-1 on the day, opening with wins over Hungary’s Tamas Tarjanyi and Zoltan Vatzi.    

Bellamy also took bronze in the freestyle category.
