DSW, the designer shoe warehouse that submitted plans to River Forest officials in May, signed a lease last month for the 28,000-square-foot space at River Forest Town Center.
According to a statement from Mid-America Asset Management, the real estate company that markets the property, the shoe retailer plans to open in the fall in the space vacated by Linens ‘N’ Things in 2008.
A building permit was issued to DSW on July 31, said Village Administrator Eric Palm. Chico’s and Panera Bread have also renewed their leases at the center at Lake Street and Bonnie Brae.
