The District 97 Board of Education will not make a decision this month concerning the fate of its central office building at Madison and Home as originally scheduled. The board targeted June to finalize plans, but members are still in talks with the Park District of Oak Park about possibly sharing space at the park district’s Madison Street headquarters. Talks between the two taxing bodies began tentatively late last fall. Chris Jasculca, spokesperson for D97, said the school district does not have a definitive date set for making a final decision.
